Biography Of Malta

Malta is an independant island situated in the middle of Mediterrean Sea between Italy and the north of Africa. Its capital is Valetta and this island has a population of 400, 000 inhabitants

         

The main languages are Italian and English. Italian was first used up to 1878 until the British arrived and began to teach English in state schools. Now people think that Italian was the language of the past and English belongs to the present and to the future.
